Being the dean of Kurdistan Technical Institute, one of the top higher education institutions in the Kurdistan Region, and one of its founders makes me feel incredibly proud and privileged. The institute was founded in 2015 as one of the Maya Company's educational initiatives. Maya Company is a subsidiary of the Qaiwan Group. By ministerial order number (21923) issued on October 19, 2015, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research granted the institute its formal licence. We made a concerted effort to maintain close ties with local and international institutions, business groups, vand organisations as soon as we were established in order to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge teaching practises.

Our teachers, administrative personnel, and students all profit from these connections. Recent studies and trends indicate that we should switch from theoretical to practical ways so that students can experience the most recent tools, technology, and practical approaches. It is important to note that all of the programmes we offer are taught in English. Our institute is situated in Sulaimani, the cultural hub of the country and the epicentre of revolt and resistance. These qualities and labels have been bestowed onto the cultural and political movement after its history has been established. For its medical divisions, the institute maintains strong connections with top hospitals in the area. The network of hospitals run by Anwar Sheikha is also available to our students. With the help of the Institute's top-notch facilities, motivating faculty, and research-driven instruction, students are given the chance to improve their skills and competences and emerge as knowledgeable, well-rounded people who can easily transition into the workforce. Our institution has a lovely campus and a highly diverse and open community. It is sizable enough to have a worldwide presence and influence while still being close enough for students to form lifetime friendships and a strong feeling of community. Many things have contributed to the Institute's pioneering status and reputation, including the contributions of our talented and committed faculty, the zeal, enthusiasm, and creativity of our graduate students, the commitment and support of our outstanding staff, and the drive of our founders to make a difference in the Kurdistan Region. We established an integrated system to operate the institute online, making our institute the first organisation in the Kurdistan Region to do so. With this technology, professors and students can do all of their business online through a single interface. The institute is also the first and only institution in the region to receive ISO certification for quality management of education services. Our goal is to swiftly receive international accreditation from European organisations. In conclusion, I kindly welcome you to check out what our institute has to offer on the website, Facebook page, and Instagram to learn more about what makes us unique compared to other reputable universities. You will be impressed with what our institute has already accomplished, and I have faith in its potential to do considerably more in the near future.
"Kurdistan Technical Institute is the first step in your recipe for success."
